“not racist” is not enough—we must practice antiracism.
In 2020, 11 volunteers gathered to discuss diversity, equity, & inclusion in our workplace. As part of our multi-phased recommendation to management, we proposed a microsite and monthly newsletter—an effort to practice antiracism and allyship by sharing educational and cultural resources with our colleagues so they can educate themselves on the experiences of marginalized communities, and help facilitate a more inclusive environment.
